Free AHA Community CPR and Naloxone Administration Certification Courses

In collaboration with the RI Department of Health and community partners, RIDMAT/MRC is pleased to offer three (3) American Heart Association Community CPR Certification Courses.

9am - 1pm Heartsaver Course
Friday 1/17/2020; West Greenwich, RI
4pm - 9pm Full Basic Life Support (BLS) Course
Saturday 1/25/2020; East Providence, RI
10am - 2pm Heartsaver Course
The HeartSaver CPR/AED course (4 hours)trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
The Basic Life Support course (5 hours) trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
There will be a small portion of time dedicated to naloxone administration.
SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Class Size is limited to 21 individuals (no participants under 9 year of age)
If an attendee is between the ages of 9 and 13, written consent from their guardian to receive/release their information for their certification is required
